It’s hard to keep up with Ben’s stories these days. About a week ago, Ben and his partners posted a statement on the Envolve Wine website explaining that they changed the name of their cornerstone wine label from Evolve to Envolve because they “…wanted to break the business away from the reality TV thing.”
Ben’s complete statement to The Sonoma Index-Tribune: “We wanted to break the business away from the reality TV thing and just focus on really good wines. We wanted people to know it wasn’t a gimmick.”
Furthermore, Ben emphasizes that Envolve is focused less on “The Bachelor” and more on the community and the quality of their wine. I think he was trying to associate the prefix ‘en’ with environment but when used with the suffix ‘volve’ it could also be taken as being self-absorbed.
Well, that was a week ago – things change… After all, who wouldn’t take advantage of such a great opportunity to promote their business? Thus, as much as Ben wanted to stay away from all the bachelor-related stuff, in the end he couldn’t resist posting a weekly recap of his crazy, wine-splashed drama coupled with everything wine-related. What is amusing is that the blog throws some dirty pot-shots at ABC’s reality show by calling it a Shitshow.
Here is the quote from his website:
“Last night saw the debut of the 16th season of ABC’s “reality Shitshow The Bachelor.”
Isn’t Ben Flajnik biting the hand that feeds him? That takes a lot of crust!
The article doesn’t spare Ben’s so-called fiancé, Courtney Robertson, either.
“Not the most sophisticated quaff around, but then again sophistication did not seem to be a strong suit for many of these contenders. (Choice quote: “I’am at a point in my life… I’m a model.”)”
This doesn’t seem to be something you’d want to post about your fiancé.
Granted, those comments weren’t actually written by Ben Flajnik but Courtney Cochran. Nonetheless, the blog is posted on Ben’s website suggesting that he indeed read and approved its content. In fact, the article comes off as a clever, indirect attack on ABC and his supposed final choice, Courtney Robertson, or at least it sounds that way.
We are also reminded of Courtney’s mom who in a recent comment to In Touch magazine said that Ben isn’t handsome enough for Courtney. Could the blog be a reactionary dig? Whatever the case, if Ben indeed chose Courtney, their relationship doesn’t seem to be in a good place right now.
Clearly, Ben has a temper if you recall his final words of anger at Ashley for rejecting his proposal on “The Bachelorette.” In fact, recently Ben told US Weekly: “Ashley’s a wonderful woman, but we don’t keep in touch.” This suggests he can be unforgivable if he’s hurt. Could this subtle, negative emotionalism be the fly-in-the-ointment heralding a potential change of heart in the not-too-distant future?

Those comments are not from Ben or his website! Why would you say that?
I never said it is written by Ben.
On another note, yes, this article is from Ben’s Envolve Winery website! Here is the link: http://www.envolvewinery.com/happenings/in-the-news.php

I cannot believe this show, and this last week, I was in awe!
Taking challenges is one thing, but how far does one have to go to prove they are capable of loving someone, especially when there are other candidates involved, PLEASE!
Even one of my cockatoos had her opinion on watching the sow for the 1st time as seen in this YT clip
