Reality Steve:
The three “successful” couples from this show (Ali and Roberto, Jason and Molly, Trista and Ryan), all make appearances to talk about life as a couple from this show
Here’s the biggie: Brad and Emily are engaged, but that it’s not without its problems. While on stage, they do talk about the fact that they’ve already broken up once in these last three months, but they are together now, still engaged, and working on things.
The vibe I’ve gotten from the show is this: Brad and Emily are putting on a happy face and doing this for show but are pretty much doomed. The ATFR almost seemed like an intervention from the shows successful couples to tell them how to make it. Almost like a pep talk from the others considering the slippy ground Brad and Emily are currently on. Will it work? Who knows? But if they’ve already admittedly broken up once before they can even be a public couple, do I really expect them to last? Apparently it is very tense when these two were on stage, things are not all roses and daffodils between them, and they’ve definitely had their struggles already. I don’t know who broke up with who, what the reason was, or when it happened, but they do mention that it did happen and they are working on their relationship. Uh oh.
The ONLY thing I’ve heard regarding what their issues could possibly be surrounding is that Emily is the one who is reluctant to move and isn’t sure about the whole thing. But that’s just what I’ve heard. Take it how you’d like.

Nahu’s impressions:
Not to be a fatalist, but early in the filming of the show (Oct 8, 2010) I sensed that this relationship was doomed. Besides the natural incompatibility between their astrological signs, there are implicit problems arising. Emily is closed off, suspicious, reluctant to move and highly concerned about protecting Ricki from outside influences (which includes strange males.) On another note, deep down, as I have mentioned before, Ricki is protecting her mother and her ‘special’ status. In addition, she is not emotionally willing to let Brad into her life. Ricki isn’t completely convinced of Brad’s sincerity, even though she enjoyed a little attention from him and her mother when he visited. Although it seems like she accepted him to some degree, she really hasn’t and once she witnesses how Brad treats her mother in a one-on-one situation, she will be totally turned off. This will further aggravate the coming split between Brad and Emily. He won’t be able to retrieve her trust once she witnesses his tirades – which I suspect he launches when he finds out that Emily isn’t easy to push around or control. Some of these issues will center around jealousy and privacy.
Even at this early date, the signs of differences have pushed them apart and the gap will continue widening as time progresses. Sure, everyone has a few problems in the beginning of a relationship, but realistically, they haven’t known each other long enough to be moving in together. Rarely do these kind of premarital situations work. Truth is, Brad is actually terrified of a relationship, scared of “who he is” subconsciously.
Bottom line, he is frightened of his possessive insecurities and horrible, self-centered temper, all generated by a basic distrust of women in general. He is also concerned about Emily discovering some hidden issues about his private life that could ruin his relationship forever.

I do NOT understand how all of this gets out before the fans gets to see it. I know someone who has went to a taping of the ATFR (couple seasons back) and the producers are tough with the audience, but the lawyers are even tougher in terms of not being able to talk about what they see. How does this happen? It’s all in writting here, there must be something they can do to prevent this? It’s no wonder the couples have such a tough time making it with all of the rumors that happen once stuff like this gets out. It’s so sad. Everyone sees the love story between Emily and Brad, and now we are all tainted by the spoilers of what we are going to see tonight. It’s just sad.
Oh, how sad…. your Brad and Emily fairytale isn’t everything you hoped for
Get a life.
Seriously
[...] THE BACHELOR 15 AFTER THE FINAL ROSE: BRAD WOMACK AND EMILY MAYNARD ALREADY BROKE UP ONCE! [...]
Brad is clearly so in love with Emily and has totally stepped up to the plate to be Emily’s husband and father to her daughter. You could tell from the moment they met that there was a spark. Emily’s past loss of her daughter’s father has obviously affected her deeply and she has some emotional trust issues as a result. Once she overcomes her fear of loss – they will soar with the eagles in love. I think Brad is perfect for Emily and eventually she will trust in his love.
Jinglebells that’s funny I can’t stop laughing
