Well, friends, if you had a chance to watch ABC’s promo video, you probably remember the girl in a green dress slapping Brad Womack during the Meet and Greet episode. For your information, the slap wasn’t real; it was engineered by the ABC producers. Nonetheless, there are serious reasons to believe that this mysterious girl is the final contestant, recipient of the final rose and Brad Womack’s heart.
According to Reality Steve, this girl is Chantal O’Brien. She is 28 years-old and lives in Mercer Island, WA. Chantal is the daughter of Mike O’Brien, former Seattle Seahawk and owner of the O’Brien Auto Group chain in the Pacific Northwest. She works as her dad’s assistant at the corporate office. She was married in 2005 and divorced in 2009. It seems that the results of The Bachelor, season 15 finale came to Steve from indirect sources, someone who either knew or happened to see Brad Womack in Palm Desert spending Thanksgiving with Chantal and her family.
“Not sure about the Final Rose Ceremony breakdown, or how he arrived at the choice, but in the end, Brad chose Chantal O’Brien. Yes, the girl who slapped him. Of course, I expect plenty of you to doubt this because I was wrong on the Roberto/Ali ending last season, and that’s fine…How do I know this? Because on Thanksgiving, Brad was in Palm Desert, California with Chantal and her family celebrating Thanksgiving with them.”
Personally, I have a strong feeling that Steve could be right. The reason I say this is because I picked up a strong mutual attraction between Brad and Chantal when I first saw her photo on Fans of Reality TV forum page.
Here’s my take on the two:
Given to sincerity and a serious, determined mindset, Chantal is a person who can be stubborn and single-minded. Also sensual, sensitive and given to deep, affectionate emotions, this pretty lady would seem to be the ‘cat’s meow’ for any lucky guy. However, I get a feeling that she (even if she is a beauty) has a deep-seated problem with insecurity. She just can’t handle rejection, and even if the ‘slap in the face’ introduction was staged, I sense that it came from a person who expects to get dumped in the long run.
Strangely, she’s an ideal person for Womack simply because she comes with a lot of emotional baggage generated from her former relationship. She’s ideal because he needs the challenges of being real with a person who is much like himself. She’s expecting to get another shot at love with Brad and in the gambit hoping that it will change her luck in the romantic department. At the same time, through her contact with fated Brad, Chantal expects to teach men in general that women are individuals too – so don’t try to mistreat them or expect them to be like all the rest.
In a nutshell (no pun intended), she’s a handful. If Brad picks her, he will get more than he bargained for. She’s a gal that knows her own mind and is goal oriented. In other words, she doesn’t intend to be trifled with. So Brad, approach this relationship with caution. This gal has got claws hidden beneath the silk and linen.
Chantal will force the issues drawing Brad out and exposing his inner person. He will have to prove himself, put his heart on the line. It’s either go all the way or not at all for these two. They’re both carrying some emotional baggage that they will have to work through. As to the probability of a solid relationship that will last? I think it’s really good. I feel good about the probabilities of it lasting. However, there is one big ‘if’ factor which boils down to eliminating any of the games. If they can work through the effects of the past, there should be no serious problems.
So much for Brad and Chantal, according to Reality Steve’s latest spoilers (February 28, 2011), Brad is engaged to Emily Maynard. Now it’s really interesting to see what’s going to happen…

Post note: From 2005 to 2009 Chantal O’Brian was married to Jason Vena, the former lead singer of the band Acceptance. In 2006 Jason quit the band for the following reasons:
“You see, there comes a time in a band member’s life where he must choose between the abnormal life of a gypsy rock musician and the normal life of the common man. Jason, our beloved lead singer, has chosen the latter and decided to take on the yoke of the common man. He’s apparently currently working for his family’s business in Mercer Island, Washington.”
Of course, it’s not clear whether Jason is still working for Chantal’s father. However, his Facebook page suggests that he is currently engaged to Tawny Ingwaldson.

I really hope Brad does not choose Chantel O in the end because she is way too immature. She chose to go on the show knowing there would be other girls and all she does is cry and give him a hard time. There are so many other girls really trying to enjoy being with him instead of giving him ultimatums and throwing little crying fits. Please, get rid of her!!! She keeps telling him to send her home so I pray he does.

Well I first can say that Brad is different this timew I’ve watched him on the other season and yes he is a little different , but I’m not happy on who he picks my reason is can Chantel move to Austin NO she can not she he daddy second commond that won’t and is she over Jason NO Now as for Emily if people would leave her alone about Ricky and let her work it her way her and Brad be ok I think Brad is a need nice person and really she is her soulmate unless I miss something I don’t care for Michelle nor Shawntel Allie they seem to not a talker nothing in commomm. But I know this show is fixed and the bachelor and his pick will not married they hurt my feelings like ANDY BALDWIN did I felt Tessa and him was for real and he playing off on her he hurt my feeling. Chantel, all of her tubby-ness and dark hair is a replica of the two women {BRUNETTES, and not very unique looking}, so she is a repeat of his “type” even though he claims not to have a type. If he doesn’t care to intellectually stunned then I guess Chantel will suit him, {she talks to him like she’s 5 years old}.

She is to prim and proper for him. She acts like a goody person.
Emily is a country girl who has been taught manners, that doesn’t make her a “goody” besides there is nothing wrong with being a goody. She just knows how to keep her emotions in tact and present herself on national television! I personally think she is too good for Brad Womack!
What show am I watching? I am so rooting for Chantal. I see incredible chemistry with them and above all they are soooo natural together, like they have been together for years. Emily is sweet and beautiful and that’s why she is still on the show. She is not right for him, she is just so pretty she hasn’t been booted yet. If you truly watch their interactions it’s like watching paint dry. She is sweet and boring and he is taken by her beauty. Chantal is the whole package for him. Their personalities mesh way better and will last way longer than him and Emily ever could.
