For a few last days the internet and all the media sources have been buzzing about the break-up of Jake and Vienna. To be technically correct, Jake and Vienna never split because they never really had a relationship; it was all a scam – a match made in “ratings heaven” by Mike Fleiss. It was meant to create controversy… and controversy it did create.
I followed the couple since the Final Rose ceremony and if you took time to read my blogs about Jake and Vienna – the news of a break-up shouldn’t be a surprise. As a matter of fact, for a long time my blog site was the only source to report Jake and Vienna’s separation shortly after the DWTS finale. In case you want to refresh your memory, here is the link:

The truth is, after the Dancing with the Stars finale the so-called couple have lived separate lives and occasionally hooked-up for public appearances. For instance, Vienna flew back from Florida to make an appearance on the DWTS; their 3-day vacation was also a publicity stunt; a present from Chris Harrison and ABC, if you know what I mean.
DOES REALITY TV LOVE PRODUCE MEDIA WHORES?
This insatiable desire for fame and success served as a driving force that motivated them to continue this diabolical scam. At first, the co-called love between a conservative Christian boy and a wild female from the wrong side of the tracks was meant to shock and captivate public attention. But once they sold that bill of goods and milked it for all its worth, the next step was to engineer a dramatic public break-up; all the juicy stuff that comes with the dirty laundry of ‘he said’ ‘she said’.
After all, let’s get real – a defunct relationship is worth more to the ratings game than the one that lasts. In terms of financial gains, the end of a reality TV relationship can be compared to a sudden death of a celebrity, especially if they died during the decline of their popularity. Good examples are: Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe (all of which I’m highly suspicious of…).
What great timing! Consider the following: ABC’s original press release stated there would be 20 contestants on the upcoming Bachelor Pad show. However, for some strange reason the cast ended up being 19 people — 11 girls and 8 guys; The Bachelorette, season 13 contestant Mathau Johnson was cut from the show for no particular reason or so it appeared…
On Wednesday, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Chris Harrison made the following revelation:
”Now that the news is out about Jake and Vienna, I can also announce that Jake will be coming and will be a part of Bachelor Pad. … I can’t explain everything. It just happened, obviously with everything that’s happened, but Jake will definitely play his part in Bachelor Pad.”
Now do you get the schemata of this whole elaborate operation? It’s obvious that they knew about the break-up all along, probably initiated it from the get-go!
On Monday, July 5, episode of The Bachelorette, Jake and Vienna will also have their first post-breakup face-off.
In Jake’s own words, “America was there and stood with me at the birth of our relationship, and I think I owe it to them and to myself and Vienna to let everybody be there at the end of it!”
Sure, since it was all a big scripted production with Mike Fleiss as the master puppeteer and Jake and Vienna – his puppets!
